Being a Green Panther: Meaning & Introduction to Nature-based Living

What does it mean to be a ‘Green Panther’?

A green panther is a person who strongly cares about life on earth and the environment.

Who are the Green Panthers around us?

When someone in our family, like our grandparents and parents, leaves food and water for birds & animals or takes care of plants and trees, that makes them a Green Panther.

It’s simply because they care about life around them and making their surrounding a better place for everyone.

When your friends and family consciously reduce their plastic usage by choosing better alternatives for nature and living a sustainable & zero waste life – that makes them a Green Panther.

When your baby daughter learns the difference between littering and disposing of waste to keep Earth clean – that makes your daughter a cute, little baby Green Panther.

When we love nature and do our part for Earth – it makes all of us ‘Green Panthers’.

Everyone can be a Green Panther.

Anyone and everyone who cares about the environment, and understands the importance of Earth and natural life is a Green Panther. When we think about it, we can recognise the Green Panther within us and around us in many different ways and by many different names.

  • As nature lovers, eco-warriors, green warriors, or an entire nature army
  • As wildlife and bird enthusiasts. As filmmakers, photographers, and artists
  • As writers who focus their understanding towards deeply understanding nature
  • As organic farmers, growers, gardeners, and sustainable living seekers
  • As naturalists, wildlife and nature conservationists, and climate activists
  • As volunteers, scientists, and researchers working with environmental organisations
  • As fierce protectors of the rich natural biodiversity present all around us
  • As wilderness explorers and seekers of peace found in deep forests, mountains, and wildlife sanctuaries. As passionate trekkers, trail-walkers, and hiking & camping experts – seeking the lush, adventurous life beyond our city limits
  • As people who want cleaner air to breathe, and less pollution in the world, with more green and less grey

If you identify with even one of these qualities, congratulations: you’re a Green Panther.

Why is it important to be a Green Panther?

Our home which gives us everything we need is our responsibility. As Green Panthers, we all share a great responsibility towards our vast and beautiful planet Earth.

It is the only planet we know of where natural life with all its beauty – exists at this scale. The only place we know in the universe with such amazing forests, lakes with fresh water, and magical monsoons.

A place with perfect conditions for life, with soil for growing our own food, and with air that enriches and enables our life. Even if we discover life elsewhere, and find a second home after Earth, we can still never forget the beauty of our original home, with its glorious mountain ranges and rivers: filled with a wonderful life.

For this reason, and more – it is extremely vital for us to recognise the gift we’ve got before it’s too late.

By developing nature awareness for ourselves and our close ones, and by taking conscious steps to reduce the damage caused to Earth – we need to become 100% Green Panthers

The Green Panther Life: Coexistence & Sustainability

The life of a Green Panther is a life of coexisting with nature. By deeply understanding how nature works – being in tune with the Earth and the Universe.

By understanding the fundamental aspects of nature and our life within it, we can learn how to coexist as we are and live sustainably with all that is already provided to us – without giving up what we truly love.

This is the idea that we, as Green Panther Properties believe in – and the reason why we exist.

To learn to respect nature every day and benefit from our understanding of it for the goodness of our planet’s health, as well as our health and well-being.

This way, as true Green Panthers, we can create a better tomorrow for our children – where human beings can peacefully exist side by side with nature and make the most of our time on this planet in a healthy, green, and meaningful way. As people inspired by Nature Living.
